The Senator representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, Ben Murray-Bruce has reacted to Wizkid’s big win at the 2017 MOBO Awards last night. According to him, this is his proudest moment. He wrote on Twitter; “Dear @wizkidayo, I‘ve been in the entertainment business as an investor since 1980 and one of my proudest moments for Nigerian music is the day you defeated both Jayz and @Drake, two of the biggest stars in the world, to win the Best international Act at the #MOBOAwards well done”

2017 has been quite the year for DMW boss, Davido as it saw him ascend to an unexpected level of ‘more’ stardom. Nigerian singer, Skiibii Mayana has left Five Star Music to be on his own.  The artiste was signed onto the label in 2014 and a brand new 2014 Hyundai SUV was part of the benefits that came with the contract. Former label mate, Kcee announced his exit on social media. He seem to have been close to the artiste as he used good words to break the news. Kcee shared a picture of Skiibii, himself and Five Star Music boss, E-money with the caption below; "My brother, my friend... Its been an amazing journey with you as part of the Five Star Family all these years.
