The 2017 Eargasm concert, which was hosted by comedian, Bovi, held on Saturday, February 11 at Eko Hotels in Victoria Island, Lagos.
It saw a number of Nigerian music stars perform, including 2face Idibia, Shina Peters, Tekno, Niyola, Adekunle Gold, Styl-Plus, Yinka Davies and more.
Pop group, Styl-Plus made a surprise
appearance at about 1am and then performed their hit songs including
‘Run Away’, ‘Imagine That’, ‘Call My Name’, and ‘Olufunmi’.
EME first lady, Niyola stepped out with
her female band while Sir Shina Peters and his band delivered an
energetic performance on the night.
Adekunle Gold on his part made it look
like a Valentine’s Day show with the performance of ‘Sade’, ‘Orente’ and
more of his popular tracks.
Meanwhile, Tekno who
thrilled athletes at the Lagos Marathon on Sunday also came on stage
with a couple of friends to deliver the closing performances at the
music concert.
2face Idibia’s
performance on the night was his first public show since he cancelled
the February 6 nationwide protest that got the whole country talking.
