School forced to re-admit student who drew 'DEMONIC' art
- A Nakuru school has been ordered to re-admit student whose work of art was allegedly interpreted by the schools as demonic
- The form four student had reportedly been expelled after making the drawing
A
student in Kenya , Ian Njenga, has been expelled from his school,
Bahati Boys High School, on February 13 after he came up with a strange
drawing.
The Christian school noted that
the teenager might be a cultist for him to come up with that kind of
drawing. They also accused him Ian of initiating other students to join
his alleged faith. The school management also advised the teenager's
parents to take him for counselling and transfer him to a day school
where they can keep an eye on him.

When
confronted by concerned people, the school’s Principal maintained that
the drawing made by Ian could not be condoned in the school. The school
which is located in Nakuru county has however been ordered to re-admit
the student.
Nakuru County Director for Education Isaac Asebe demanded that the school takes back Ian Mwaura Njenga.
"I
have talked with the school and they will be re-admitting the boy to
school on Monday. The school further suggested that the boy will be
given guidance and counselling sessions," Asebe told the Standard.
Mwaura's
expulsion letter signed by Principal Patrick Ombok read: "He has
drawings which are suggestive that he is owing allegiance to some
faith".
The student was also accused of trying to introduce other students to a cult after he drew a scorpion on someone else's shirt.
